    2. Member of the Expert Group appointed by DGHS (Drug Control Section) for evaluating facilities provided by NIB, Noida for testing OPV, BCG & Measles vaccines (Sept 2000)
    3. Member of the Task Force of ICMR on Viral Hepatitis.
    4. Member of the Special Committee for herbal treatment for chronic viral hepatitis.
    5. Member for the “Informal consultation on policy guidelines for HCV testing” organized by WHO/SEARO, New Delhi, 21-22 December 1999.
    6. Member of the “Expert group to formulate guidelines for approval of diagnostic kits with special reference to HIV, HBV and HCV” at National Institute of Biologicals, NOIDA, on 22 nd September 2000.
    7. Member of the Technical Committee, Central Water Commission, Govt of India to discuss Self-Purification properties of Ganga.
    8. Member of Special committee appointed by the Government of Maharashtra to address hepatitis B vaccination issue in the state, 2000.

    2. Co-investigator for a DBT funded project entitled, "Development of indigenous immunodiagnostic test-kit for hepatitis A" with Dr.S.D.Chitambar as the Principal co-investigator (1991-94).
