Study of endometrial tuberculosis among infertile women by detecting Mycobacterium Tuberculosis in menstrual blood

Currently Co-investigator in following research studies:

  • Study of PON1 gene variants and its association with cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors in women with PCOS
  • Determining prevalence of PCOS among adolescent girls in Mumbai
  • Embryo loss due to epigenetic abnormalities in the male germ line: A study in recurrent spontaneous abortions
  • Preparing sites for conducting effectiveness trials of microbicides in India (ICMR-CONRAD study)

Associated with following ICMR research projects

  • Evaluation of Progesterone Vaginal Ring (PVR) as a new contraceptive option in India (Indo-US Collaborative study) co-ordinated by RHN division ICMR.
  • Pre-programme introduction of Injectable Contraceptive through 31 district hospitals and 9 NGO clinics.
  • Tranexamic acid for the treatment of postpartum haemorrhage:an international randomized,double blind, placebo controlled trial (LSHTM). co-ordinated by RHN division ICMR
